horse racing tracks, thoroughbred racing  One of my coworkers was telling me this morning that she decided to go out to the local horse racing tracks and help out with some grooming and care of the horses. She has done this before but it has been about twenty five years since she was involved at the horse racing tracks. She met the husband of a friend of hers that owns some thoroughbred racing horses and he invited her to come out to the barns and get reacquainted with the area. Horse racing tracks are exciting places to be around. There is always lots of action in the air and the crowd is full of anticipation as they wait for the horse racing results to be displayed. This time of year is especially busy as thoroughbred racing enthusiasts gather to celebrate the beginning of the spring season of racing. My coworkers enthusiasm about her experience at the thoroughbred racing barns made me think that I need to get out and cheer on some winners. Maybe I will even get to go with her sometime to enjoy some of the behind the scenes grooming and caring for the horses.
