It Will Be A Few Weeks Before Horse Racing Tracks Are In Shape For A Race |

| As the spring time rolls around, it becomes thoroughbred racing time again in this area. The horse racing tracks have to take a winter break around here because of the extremely cold weather and piles of snow everywhere. I imagine it takes a few weeks for the horse racing tracks to get into thoroughbred racing shape after the spring melt and muddy season. I have not spent very much time at horse racing tracks but a few years ago I had some friends that were jockeys at horse racing tracks and I used to go and watch them train their mounts for racing. Talk about high strung horses, the thoroughbred racing horse is full of life and vigor. It is like they are meant to race. They have long, strong bodies that seem to be perfect for horse racing tracks and the nature of thoroughbred racing horses seems to be that of competitors. I do know lots of people that are anxious for the thoroughbred racing season to start up again and I am sure the bleachers at the horse racing tracks will be filled with faithful fans, before too much longer. |
